Event: Share in the wonder and amazement of the beautiful night sky! A Night Beneath the Stars is hosted by P3 Lake Louisa, the official concessionaire of Lake Louisa State Park, and presented by the Central Florida Astronomical Society and the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Planetarium. The evening will include a Star Party Constellation Tour of the night sky by the Director of the Planetarium, Derek Demeter, followed by telescope gazing assisted by the members and astronomers of the Central Florida Astronomical Society (CFAS).
No experience or equipment is necessary to enjoy the evening. Professional telescopes will be available for use by the pubic, with the assistance of CFAS. Please dress appropriately for the predicted weather, and bring chairs or blankets to sit on. This event is open and suitable for all ages. In between stargazing, join us around a campfire for music and marshmallow roasting. S'mores, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase.
